We Love The 80's
The retro 1980's look, which has been bubbling around for the last year or so, is here with a vengance for A/W 2009. The Frill Of It!

Leg It!
This season, leggings are everywere; worn under summer dresses to extend their use as the days grow cooler, under tunics and tucked into chunky boots. Denim leggings - also known as jeggings (as in jeans/leggings) and treggings (I'll get back to you on that one) are a hot trend for this season, and we spotted these Blue Wash Denim Leggings at Evans. The darker shade is somewhat kinder to bottoms and thighs than some of the washes available and these have a fantastic 5% elastane content, much higher than most high street leggings. Our eye was caught by this lovely Black Embroidered Skirt from Ann Harvey. For black addicts, it's one of those skirts which you can team with one of your favourite black tops. If you prefer something more dramatic, pull out one of the strong colours from the design - hot pink, raspberry or zingly orange - and team it with a top in that shade.
